It took me 2 separate visits to resolve a sudden problem with my car. The first visit was mid-morning two days before Chinese New Year. When I turned up, Ah Tong and his colleagues immediately checked my car even though they were already working on other cars. A diagnosis was made but unfortunately, the spare parts needed were not available at their regular stockists. I was advised to cautiously drive home & not use my car thereafter. Despite having spent a fair bit of time on my case, there was no charge. If I didn’t return but go elsewhere, their time spent that morning would have yielded nothing. My second & final visit was on the day the workshop reopened after its festive break. I provided the required spare parts having successfully sourced them from a local stockist found online (yay, we got lucky!) So finally, the spark plug misfiring & ignition coil replacement were efficiently & quickly settled by Bentley - what a cool name 😎 (see photo of the dude!) The labour fee was higher than at our usual workshop, according to my husband. But I considered it money well spent for a professional solution by experienced hands at a service station just 4km from home. More importantly, the staff was responsive, responsible, friendly and helpful, and that assured me I was in good hands when I arrived at Shell AutoServ Tampines that fateful morning.
